Top Information Technology People You Should Be Following On Twitter
Twitter is an awesome new phase to the Information Age. It is undeniably the biggest new service in the social media sphere right now. I think that the only people who are not fascinated by Twitter are the ones who have not really tried it yet. It is very hard to explain to the uninitiated, but once you really engage in it, the payoffs are large.
The point of this post is not to explain all of the many ways that Twitter can make your life better. Some like its use in keeping a small group of friends connected, other like its instant messaging functions, and still others like the way that companies are starting to perform customer service using it. I especially like the access to thoughts, ideas, and actions of people who I admire that it gives me. I find that the quickest way to get people into Twitter is to give them a good starting list of people that they are interested in to follow. After a few days of the new found alignment, most become hooked.
So, in that spirit, I provide this list of people who are movers and shakers and relevant to the Information Professional community as a starting place.
- Scott Coughlin. OK, so maybe I am only fit the bill in my own mind, but if you would like, you may follow me.
