Here is the USA, it is Thanksgiving.  I wish all of you and your families a very happy Thanksgiving.  I am especially thankful for all of my readers and participants in this blog.  Thank you very much.

Professionally, I am also thankful for:

  • My job
  • My Boss
  • My co-workers
  • My customers
  • My Stakeholders
  • The IT Team that supports me locally
  • The IT Help Desk that supports them
  • The Tier 4 Tech Support Team that supports them
  • The Security and Information Assurance Folks that supports them
  • The Vendors and Developers that support them
  • The Open Source participants who make so much UNIX based software simply work on the Internet
  • The DHL, UPS, FEDEX, and USPS personnel who bring me so much work and deliveries

As a reminder, this year, we have a Geek Holiday Gift Guide for Information Technology Thought of the Day site readers!  It includes items that you might be interested in either owning or giving to others. Don’t forget that I continuously add new items to it, too!  Many of the items would make excellent thank-you’s for the above!

So no matter if your Holiday includes big family dinners, NFL Football, Parades, or simply a Turkey TV Diner, I hope that your Thanksgiving is filled with joy, fun, and peace.  Happy Holidays, friends.
