The Apple iPad is a Revolution In Information Technology
Yesterday, I wrote about how I thought that Apple would be unveiling a Revolution in Information Technology…a tablet that did not stink… Today the revolution has begun. Not only did they do it, but I think that they hit it out of the park. I think that what they included in their first generation product is just as important as what they left out. No matter what other geeks may say, there was an incredible amount of research and development that went into this and I can tell. Just as I thank Apple for creating a iPod without a power button, a mouse without mechanical buttons all over the place, and a cell phone that does not make you want to throw it at the ground, I think that their iPad will turn out to be exactly what we need to be productive without all the annoyances that we currently take for granted in tablets.

Today, I will hold my praise for Apple’s industrial design and software genius to make room for the thousands of pundits who will drone on about what it doesn’t do… then tomorrow I will explain why that is all good things! In the mean time, I need to go order my iPad!

The Apple iPad looks fantastic. I will definitely be buying one. I am just not decided whether to get the wifi or the 3g and which size to get.
