More Enterprise Service Desk Humor: Funny Sign

You all know that I have a special place in my heart for Enterprise Service Desk (i.e. IT Help Desk) workers. Thankless job, long hours, boring work, and required smiles! I find that they tend to survive, very much like combat troops, by developing a very dry sense of humor!

I usually feature comedy on Saturdays. In the past, I have featured jokes, comics, cartoons, and news on the weekends. Sometimes I include comics, stories, games, and photos. Today, it will be all about a great sign!

The most humorous part of all of this is that it is all so true. Some of the jokes hit a bit close to home!

iPhone Loving (Video)

In honor of next week’s iPhone 4 launch by Apple, I thought that I would comb through YouTube and see what sort of iPhone loving videos have been posted before. What I found did not disappoint in the least! As I suspected, people sure do love their iPhones – enough to make hundreds of videos expressing such for the world to see!

I usually feature comedy on Saturdays. In the past, I have featured jokes, comics, cartoons, and news on the weekends. Sometimes I include comics, stories, games, and photos. By far, though, humor and especially videos with Information Technology (IT) themes have been the most popular. So I have gone back to this endless well of laughs! I simply cannot get enough of comedy videos!

For this week, I have picked this video to share with you as follow-up. It is called “iPhone Love”… It is by invisibleSHIELD and it just plain funny!

The most humorous part of all of this is that it is all so true. Some of the jokes hit a bit close to home!

I love the folks who work Enterprise Service Desks… or IT Help Desks, if you prefer. You have to admit that their work is thankless and mostly unrewarding. It does take a special kind of techie to put up with “users” all day long. It also results in a very dry sort of humor that I think, is a form of self protection!

Today, I found this funny picture on the web and thought that I would share it with you. Here’s to the help desk…
