Related posts brought to you by Yet Another Related Posts Plugin.]]> In honor of next week’s iPhone 4 launch by Apple, I thought that I would comb through YouTube and see what sort of iPhone loving videos have been posted before.  What I found did not disappoint in the least!  As I suspected, people sure do love their iPhones – enough to make hundreds of videos expressing such for the world to see!

I usually feature comedy on Saturdays.  In the past, I have featured jokes, comics, cartoons, and news on the weekends.  Sometimes I include comics, stories, games, and photos.  By far, though, humor and especially videos with Information Technology (IT) themes have been the most popular.  So I have gone back to this endless well of laughs!  I simply cannot get enough of comedy videos!

For this week, I have picked this video to share with you as follow-up.  It is called “iPhone Love”… It is by invisibleSHIELD and it just plain funny!

The most humorous part of all of this is that it is all so true.  Some of the jokes hit a bit close to home! 

I hope that I gave you a chuckle to make your weekend a little brighter.  I will be back Monday with more serious topics!

Related posts brought to you by Yet Another Related Posts Plugin.]]> image Anyone involved in Information Technology during the past five years is aware of the famous Apple “I’m a Mac…I’m a PC” TV Ad campaign.  Besides being simply hysterical, it also is credited with creating the greatest wave of Apple’s market share growth in history.  Unfortunately, Apple has decided to end this run of 30 second comedy spots.  They have even pulled all of them off of their website.  Lucky for us that fans of the series have archived them all on YouTube!

I usually feature comedy on Saturdays.  In the past, I have featured jokes, comics, cartoons, and news on the weekends.  Sometimes I include comics, stories, games, and photos.  By far, though, videos with Information Technology (IT) themes have been the most popular.  So I have gone back to this endless well! 

For this week, I have picked this video to share with you as follow-up.  It is called “Buy a Mac”… It is by Apple Computers and compiled by nahu090yt. It is a seven minute compilation of the first 15 classic commercials from this campaign.  I am sure that with a little YouTube searching, you could easily find the entire series of commercials.

I hope that I gave you a good chuckle to make your weekend a little more meaningful.  I will be back Monday with more serious IT topics!

Related posts brought to you by Yet Another Related Posts Plugin.]]> Yesterday was the last flight of the US Space Shuttle Atlantis.  It marks the beginning of the end for the US Manned Space Flight Program.  It makes me want to cry to think that we are walking away from our manifest destiny in this manner.  I can’t believe that after all that we have gained from this program economically, emotionally, and patriotically that I will have to begin tales of it to my son with, “Once upon a time men went to space…”

I usually feature comedy on Saturdays.  In the past, I have featured jokes, comics, cartoons, and news on the weekends.  Sometimes I include comics, stories, games, and photos.  By far, though, videos with Information Technology (IT) themes have been the most popular.  So I have gone back to this endless well! 

For this week, I have picked this video to share with you as follow-up.  It is called “STS-132 Underway – Atlantis Heads to Space Station”… It is by NASAtelevision and it the official launch video for Atlantis’ final flight. Obviously, we owe a huge load of debt to NASA for the motivation, innovation, and determination that is responsible for so much of our Information Age and Information Technology.

I hope that I gave you a tear of nostalgia to make your weekend a little more meaningful.  I will be back Monday with more serious IT topics!

For this week, I have picked this video to share with you as follow-up.  It is called “NewsTopia – Google Street View”… It is by NewsTopia and placed on YouTube by Yyookkyy and it just plain funny and frighteningly accurate.  NewsTopia is an Australian sketch comedy show.  They have a great write up on Wikipedia.
