Dilbert Videos! Who Hates MBAs?

0

I love Scott Adam’s Dilbert cartoons.  I have featured them before on this site.  Today, i happened to discover that his animation is also featured on YouTube!  I could not resist the urge to highlight this.  He even has a Dilbert Channel there.  They are even keyword searchable!

I usually feature comedy on Saturdays.  In the past, I have featured jokes, comics, cartoons, and news on the weekends.  Sometimes I include comics, stories, games, and photos.  By far, though, humor and especially videos with Information Technology (IT) themes have been the most popular.  So I have gone back to this endless well of laughs!  I simply cannot get enough of comedy videos!

For this week, I have picked this video to share with you as follow-up.  It is called “Dilbert: Different Situations and MBA”… It is by Scott Adam’s and it just plain funny and frighteningly accurate.  If MBAs are too close to home for you, you can just think, “IT Consultant” and it will be just as funny!

I hope that I gave you a chuckle to make your weekend a little brighter.  I will be back Monday with more serious topics!

What did you think of the video?  Funny? Do you know of any other similar movies or clips?  Please share.

Google Street View Parody Videos

Even though most people consider Google’s Street View feature within maps to be pure magic, there are some who think that the bounds of privacy have been completely exceeded.  This has spawned a cottage industry of professional and amateur parody videos that are simply hysterical.

It is called “NewsTopia – Google Street View”… It is by NewsTopia and placed on YouTube by Yyookkyy and it just plain funny and frighteningly accurate.  NewsTopia is an Australian sketch comedy show.  They have a great write up on Wikipedia.

The most humorous part of all of this is that it is all so true.  Some of the jokes hit a bit close to home!

I hope that I gave you a chuckle to make your weekend a little brighter.  I will be back Monday with more serious topics!

Where did all the Records go? (Video)

Good Information Age videos are just fun every now and then.  I have picked this video to share with you today.  It is called “How Vinyl Records Are Made” and it is the second part of one that I featured three days ago.  I hope that you enjoy the conclusion.

This video comes from RCA Records and is provided on Youtube by forwardbound and it just plain fun.  It comes in two parts with the first part here. I am always amazed at how fast technology becomes irrelevant, but this is an awesome example of the complete trade that had developed to maximize one communication medium that is nearly totally gone due to advances in information processing and storage technology.  Enjoy.

forwardbound have more like this and you can follow this link and subscribe to his video site.

I hope that it gives you a touch of nostalgia and pause to consider the media formats and hardware that you or your organization are investing in.
