Where did all the Records go? (Video)
0Good Information Age videos are just fun every now and then. I have picked this video to share with you today. It is called “How Vinyl Records Are Made”
This video comes from RCA Records and is provided on Youtube by forwardbound and it just plain fun. It comes in two parts with the second part here. I am always amazed at how fast technology becomes irrelevant, but this is an awsome example of the complete trade that had developed to maximize one communication medium that is nearly totalty gone due to advances in information processing and storage technology. Enjoy.

I hope that it gives you a touch of nostalgia and pause to consider the media formats and hardware that you or your organization are investing in.

I’m On A Mac – Fan Video
0I usually feature comedy on Saturdays. In the past, I have featured jokes, comics, cartoons, and news on the weekends. Sometimes I include comics, stories, games, and photos. By far, though, humor and especially videos have been the most popular. So I have gone back to this endless well of laughs!
I have picked this video to share with you as follow-up. It is called “I’m on a Mac”… It is one of the endless fan videos created to honor the mackintosh platform and is provided on Youtube by pantlessknights and it just plain funny. I am always amazed that the Apple products create such loyal fans. I am sure that this video took hours, if not days, to create!
WARNING: Soundtrack is loud and contains barely “beeped over” bad words. While this might be considered radio safe, it is probably not work safe!
pantlessknights have a bunch more and you can follow this link and subscribe to his video site.
I hope that I gave you a chuckle to make your weekend a little brighter. I will be back tomorrow with more serious topics!

Hug a developer today… (Video)
2I usually feature comedy on Saturdays. In the past, I have featured jokes, comics, cartoons, and news on the weekends. Sometimes I include comics, stories, games, and photos. By far, though, the most popular humor posts are the videos so today, I have found another one.
I have picked this video to share with you. It is called Hug a developer today… It is by syncfool and it just plain hysterical in a sad sort of true-life way. It is a sentimental look at the dashed hopes, dreams, fears, and tears of software developers everywhere. If you work with, manage, lead, or employ software developers, you will find this sad, funny, and poignant all at the same time. I hope that you like it.
I definitely felt the need to give my developers a hug after this. I suppose that is exactly what the producers wanted. I did my part. Won’t you please give your software gurus a hug, too? Please?
I hope that I gave you a chuckle to make your weekend a little brighter. I will be back tomorrow with more serious topics!
What did you think of the video? Does it apply to your organization? Do you know of any other similar movies or clips? Please share.
